Note the X-DFS (dynamic focal spot) capability here — this is a step up from the CTR1700 series tubes (CTR1725/1735/1740), which don’t have dynamic focal spot at all. Dunlee markets the CTR2100 series specifically for higher anode heat storage and continuous patient throughput, i.e., mid-range CT systems that need to handle more scan volume than the entry-level MX4000/Access/MX6000 line.
